How to lose weight with the moon phases:

Timing is everything. Take for instance the timing of the rare Sept. 27, 2015 “Blood Moon,”which transformed an already impressive “harvest moon” into a show stopping blaze of red during a coinciding total lunar eclipse. Considered “THE astronomical event of the year,” scientists say we will not experience another “Blood Moon” until 2033.

So what does this “Blood Moon” talk and the 2015 Christmas full moon all have to do with your efforts to achieve super health & fitness and lose weight? Everything. In fact, the timing of when you start a new diet and “super health & fitness” routine to lose weight can greatly enhance the end results. Here’s where the powerful phases of the moon come in. You see, the gravitational pull of the moon actually has a huge influence on our lives and subsequently the success of our diet and weight loss efforts. Research reveals that by planning your “super health & fitness” activities around the moon’s phases, you will be taking action at the right time…to successfully diet and lose weight.

While all of the phases of the moon bring the opportunity for positive, life changing opportunities, the best time to lose weight and achieve super health & fitness is during a “waning moon.” The moon enters the waning phase about 3 to 10 days after the full moon. The waning moon is the ideal time to eliminate things from your life. Whether you want to break a bad habit such as smoking…or want to lose weight, the time to do it is during the waning moon.

The waning moon is also known as the “banishing moon” because it can help pave the way for anyone trying to “banish” something from their life, and that includes getting rid of those extra pounds. If you want to lose weight, try starting a new diet at the beginning of a waning moon. Plan ahead. Now is the perfect to to take advantage of the next “waning moon” to start your “New Year” off right, which includes planning to start anything new such as a new job or adventure in addition to new health & wellness goals.

So what about the rest of the moon phases? Check out a high-level overview of the phase of the moon to enhance your life, productivity and super health & fitness:

Full Moon

As with the waning moon, the full moon phase is considered an ideal time to make positive changes in your life. If there is an issue in your life you want to address, tackle it during he full moon for a positive outcome.

Waning Moon

The waning moon takes on a C-shape. As indicated earlier, it enters this phase about 3 to 10 days after the full moon. The waning moon is a “New Moon” and a great time to say good-bye to a relationship that is not working out or a job that has lived out its time.

New Moon

While we can’t actually see a new moon – it’s there. It’s not visible because there is no reflection from the sun on it during this phase. As the word “new” may indicate, the new moon marks a time for new beginnings. Keep the “new moon” phase in mind when looking to start a new relationship, buy a new home, car, etc.

Waxing Moon

The waxing moon takes on a D shape. The waxing moon phase is the perfect time to start something you want to make happen in your life. The waxing moon comes between seven and 14 days after the new moon and has been shown to be an auspicious time:

  • Success
  • Courage
  • Luck
  • Health
  • Friendship

The waxing moon is also a great time to make new friends, join a weight loss group and in essence, seek group support and expand your horizons in the social and friends sector of your life to achieve super health & fitness…because as we now know – timing is everything.
