The world’s 24 best big-wave surfers will take on and ride the massive swells on what Mavericks Surf Competition experts consider to be the “biggest and best day of the winter season.”
What: Mavericks Invitational is the world’s premier big wave contest, bringing together 24 of the top big wave surfers with just 24-hour notice. Maverick’s is located 1/2 mile off shore of Half Moon Bay, California.
Where: The infamous Mavericks Surf spot discovered by Jeff Clark – is located 1/2 mile off shore of Pillar Point, in the small town of Princeton-by-the-Sea located in Half Moon Bay, CA.
